Central - A United Methodist Community - is more than150 years young! For many years, Central has been an integral part of Meridian and Lauderdale County.

Central is a place where the wide diversity of our community can be found - young and old, male and female, black and white, married and single, white-collar and blue-collar. All find a welcoming place in our congregation where they can worship God together and grow in faith.

As United Methodists, we believe that faith and action are essential elements of Christian discipleship. We believe the life of faith is a journey of transformation in which we become more like Christ. In addition, we believe this faith that transforms us also compels us to go into the world and live out our faith with courage and compassion, serving God and others in the process.
