Central Women’s Ministry provides a place for women of all ages to find their purpose through spiritual development, missions and evangelism. We invite you to become involved in the life of Central UMC!
Toni Wild is an inspirational speaker best known for her ability to speak from the heart about her own “life journey”. A native of New Orleans, Toni attended Touro Infirmary School of Nursing, where she received her Registered Nurse degree in 1985 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996. She has practiced as an Operating Room nurse for 36 years. Little did she know her years in the Operating Room would prepare her for facing breast cancer twice, the loss of a spouse, undergoing a heart transplant and most recently being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has been involved in cancer recovery programs, acted as a spokesperson for the Go Red for Women campaign, works with individuals who are either facing a transplant or who have undergone transplant surgery, and has participated in the National Transplant Games of America.
Toni is focused and has dedicated her life to fitness, healthy eating, and encouraging others to live, eat and play healthy. It has been her strong desire that through sharing her own story, she can give hope and inspire others who may be going through similar circumstances.

Central's Meal Ministry provides meals for our families in times of need. We have a Meal Ministry Committee but our needs often surpass what our committee is able to provide. We welcome anyone who is willing to provide frozen meals. Some ideas of foods we need: savory casseroles (lasagna, chicken and wild rice, enchiladas, chicken spaghetti, ziti, poppy seed chicken, etc.), soups (vegetable, potato, broccoli and cheese, chili, etc.), homemade breads/rolls (sweet or savory), side dishes (potato casseroles, vegetable dishes/casseroles), and cakes/pies/desserts. Meals may be dropped off in the main kitchen deep freeze behind the serving line.
