On Sunday nights during the fall and spring, our elementary students participate in The Zone (K-3rd grades) and Club 412 (4th-5th grades). Dinner is served by parents from 5:30-6:00 PM and lessons are from 6:00-7:00 PM.
THE ZONE
The Zone is for children K-3rd grades. Children are divided by K-1st grades and 2nd-3rd grades to participate in Bible Skills and Drills, and includes story time, computer, art, and recreation. Each lesson has a scripture passage for students to learn. At the end of each semester, students will have had the opportunity to complete a scripture memorization chart and qualify for an award trip.
The Zone begins at 5:30 with dinner in the 11th Street Gym kitchen. From 6:00-7:00 PM, children meet in break-out groups.
CLUB 412
Club 412 was created for our 4th-5th grade
students. It is grounded in the scripture I Timothy 4:12: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity". Lessons are
centered on scripture and life application issues affecting preteens.
This group meets in a space designed for them off of the 11th Street Gym area. Following their lesson and small group time, they have recreation in the 11th Street Gym. Students will also have an opportunity to learn scripture and qualify for an award trip at the end of the semester.
Club 412 meets on the stage at 5:30 PM for dinner in Cafe 412.
