christmas eve services
December 24 | NO IN-PERSON WORSHIP IN THE SANCTUARY
LIVE-STREAM TIMES: 12 PM | 2 PM | 4 PM | 6 PM
Available on Facebook, our website, and Vimeo.
Our regular Christmas Eve service will be live-stream only.
___________________________________________________________________________
December 24 | 6:30 P.M. | IN-PERSON | FRONT STEPS OF THE SANCTUARY ONLY
A drive-in candlelight service will be held from the front steps of the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. We have received a parade permit to block off 23rd Avenue for this service. Participants will remain in their automobiles, listen to the service through their radios, and will be able to worship as our staff leads us in a time of music, devotion, and candlelight.
Candles for all of these services can be picked up at the church office during regular business hours from now through December 24th. We will have a special distribution on December 21st - 23rd from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. for those who can not get by the church office during regular hours.
This will allow members to participate during the drive-in time or live-streaming at home.
PLEASE KEEP THE CANDLES! We do not want them back.
Thank You

December 25 | Christmas Day
We will share again our special Christmas programs on our virtual platforms.

holiday meals
Due to precautions concerning COVID-19, Central UMC is unable to host our annual meal on Christmas Day. However, we do still want to connect our families together; especially, those who have no place to go and no one with whom to spend the day.
This year, we are connecting host families with those who need a place to go. If you are a person who has no family to be with at Christmas, please contact Tim Wise at the church office so he can connect you with a host family!
If you are a family willing to host a few extra individuals in your home this year (between 1- 4 people), please contact Tim Wise at the church office at 601-693-1521 so he can add you to the host list. Although this part of our ministry is typically geared toward senior adults, there is no limit on age.
If you need a family, we want you to be a part of ours!
