rev. John Branning

Lead Pastor

John has been the Lead Pastor of Central since June 2013.  He earned an Associates Degree from East Mississippi Community College, a Bachelors of Science from Mississippi State University, and a Masters of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary. He also serves as the  Brigade Chaplain for the 185th Theater Aviation Brigade with the Mississippi Army National Guard. He is married to Traci and together they have three boys (BJ, Aidan, and Jasper).

Rev. Dennis Gossett

Associate Pastor

Senior Adult Ministry

Dennis is from Oxford, MS and begin his ministry there in 2005 serving several local churches. He holds a BS in Communications from Kaplan University and an MDiv from Duke Divinity School. He also served as a local pastor in the North Carolina Annual Conference. In 2013, Dennis returned to Mississippi and was appointed as an Associate Pastor to Central. He is married to Dawn Gossett and they have three children: Mallory, Shelby and Cole.  

Rev. Bob Peden

Music and Worship

  • Plans, produces and leads in all 3 Sunday morning worship services. 
  • Prepares video presentations, lighting and live camera set-up for worship.
  • Rehearses with both praise bands each week and the sanctuary choir when possible. 
  • Helps to maintain and enhance Central's web presence.

Rev. Jonathan Crabtree

Student MinistRy

Jonathan serves as our Pastor for Student Ministry. He comes from Vicksburg, Mississippi, but has lived several years in the East Central region of Mississippi serving the areas of Decatur, Philadelphia, and now Meridian in different areas of ministry. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University, and a graduate from Asbury Theological Seminary [Wilmore, Kentucky] with a Master's of Divinity. He is also a Provisional Elder in the Mississippi Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. 

Jonathan is married to Rev. Kristina Crabtree, and they have a three-year-old daughter, Dani Lou. Jonathan enjoys strumming the guitar, drumming on anything, and anything 'beach' related. Some of his favorite Pandora stations are: Christmas Radio, Classic Rock Power Workout, and any station dedicated to the soundtrack from Harry Potter.

Rev. Kristina Crabtree

Minister for spiritual formation

Kristina is our Minister of Spiritual Formation. She is responsible for several areas such as missions, evangelism, small groups, and adult formation classes. She loves reading, soaking up the sun, and teaching. Home for her is close by: Enterprise, Mississippi. She is a Provisional Deacon in the Mississippi Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church and holds a Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University and a Master's of Spiritual Formation from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Kristina is married to Rev. Jonathan Crabtree, and they have a three-year-old daughter, Dani Lou. Kristina enjoys the sunshine, the color yellow, all styles of dancing, and living life with her husband and daughter. Connect with her on Social Media.

Sabrina Williams

Children and Family Ministries

Sabrina serves as Director for Children and Family Ministries.  She plans and oversees programming for Nursery - 5th Grade students at Central.  She also serves as primary staff person for family retreats, church-wide events, and community events.  Sabrina has served in children's ministry, in one capacity or the other, most of her adult life.  She has a certification in Christian Education from Columbia College and has served as Central's Children's Ministry Director for the past thirteen years.

Sabrina is married to Rick, and they have three children by birth, three by marriage, and seven grandchildren. (Michelle and Robert Mayfield, Will, Aubrye, and Miley; Angela and Cyle Keith, Brett and Weston; Lee and Melanie Williams, Hunter and Ella.) In her spare time, Sabrina's number one passion is her family, and nothing inspires or refreshes her more than her grandchildren. She also enjoys sewing, crocheting, antiquing, gardening, cooking, and playing the piano. She enjoys all styles of music, but her favorite Christian group is Selah.
